VASSALL, Manuel B. (Manny). On Friday August 22, 2003. Son of the late Chaya and the late Kalman. Beloved husband of Phyllis Sabbath and the late Anne Kassie. Devoted brother of Jacqueline Spitzer. Predeceased by his sisters Naomi, Rina, Sybil and his brothers David and Norman. Loving uncle of Eleanor Meltzer (Murry), Marilyn Ritz (Mort), Winston Vassall (Lisa), Inez Kaffenbaum, Murray Spitzer (Carol), Warren Shannon (Harriet), Linda Freidenberg. Also mourned by his dear grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the staff of 4 North of the Maimonides Geriatric Center for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday August 24, at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Chevra Shaas Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private.
