HERSHENFELD, Hena (nee Wajsblum) Peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Nathan. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Freda and the late Allan Greenstone and Barry and Itta Hershenfeld. ored Bubby of Ilana and Richard Sheppard, Elliot and Wendy Greenstone, Nathalie and Danny Myszka and Nathan and Zachary Hershenfeld. Proud "Great Bubby" of Alexandra, Grace and Olivia Sheppard and Adam, Alicia and Gabriel Greenstone. Sister-in-law of Leah Kaplovitch. Predeceased by her brother Bernard and her parents Sarah and Chil Wajsblum who perished in the Holocaust and by her brother Zev Wajsblum and sister Helen Mandelzys. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Olga and Helen for their compassion and the staff of 4W at the Jewish General Hospital, especially Dr. Janice Cohen. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. West on Monday, February 1 at 2 p.m. Burial at Congregation Chevra Shaas Adath Yeshurun Cemetery, de la Savane.
