ZOLDAN, Moritz (Moishe). It is with great sadness that we announce his peaceful passing at the age of eighty-four on Sunday, March 23, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted and loving husband of Margaret Weis-Rupp for fifty-seven years. Loving father and father-in-law of Fred and Annick, Harry and Pauline, Rita and Joel Seltzer of Pembrook Pines, Florida. Cherished grandfather of Jesse and Tony Blauer, Audra, Aaron, Ben and Emily Zoldan and great-grandfather of Nicholas, Madison, and Olivia; and Ryan. After losing his entire family in the Holocaust, he arrived in Canada in 1949 with his wife and firstborn son. Morris was a self-made man who believed strongly in hard work and family ties. A patriarch who loved his family dearly and generously helped and guided them along life's path. We would like to thank all the caregivers on 6th Floor North Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their compassion and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, March 25 at 1 p.m. Burial at Chevra Shaas Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6785 Korzcak Crescent through Wednesday evening March 26. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maimonides Geriatric Foundation 483-2121, Local 2207. We miss him already... |
