SZABADI, Magda. After a courageous battle, on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Beloved mother of Esther Schwartz. Predeceased by her siblings, Alexander, and Andras, and by Leslie and Rose who perished in the Holocaust. Dear sister-in-law of Miriam Szabadi. Respected aunt of Gabriel and Annalee Szabadi, Ronit Szabadi, Anita and Dr. Ronald Gottesman, and Shirley and Brad Patt. Magda will be lovingly remembered by her grandnieces, grandnephews, and by all who knew her. With much appreciation for the care and compassion provided by Dr. Miriam Abdelnour, Shannon Deslauriers, Cindy Morneault, and the nurses and staff of 5 North at St. Mary's Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Sunday, November 9, at 3 p.m. Burial at the Chevra Shaas Extension Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, De la Savane.
