BLIDNER, Betty (nee Chazonoff). It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our most beloved mother on Friday, March 14, 2003 at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill. She was surrounded by her proud and devoted children Barry and Gwen, Rosemary (Roey) and Brian (Steinberg), Sharon and Dave (McLean), and by her treasured grandchildren Aron and Alana Blidner, Jordan and Gabriel Steinberg, and Dylan McLean. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Kate and the late Irving Schultz, Eunice and the late Erwin Weinstein, the late Ben and the late Ruth Chazonoff, the late Rose and the late Moishe Miller, the late Abe and the late Dorothy Chazonoff, the late Blema and the late Ben Mozovitch, the late Norman and the late Doris Chazonoff. Sister-in-law of Phyllis Blidner, and predeceased by Lou, Pat, Sydney, Chuck and Mary Blidner. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved to share in her joy of life. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Monday, March 17 at 1 p.m. Burial at the King George Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. The family would like to thank her devoted caregiver Kineta, the skilled homecare staff at Mount Sinai; Judith, Belle, and Dr. Kalin, and the nursing staff of CLSC Rene Cassin, and the G.M.A. of CLSC Metro for their skill, compassion and commitment.
