CARIN, Morris. "Uncle Morrie". Peacefully, in his ninety-second year, on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Son of the late Annie (Deskin) and the late Barnet Karasinsky. Predeceased by his brothers Bill (Leah), Mike (Nellie), Alex (Esther), and Joe (Gayle). Survived by his brother Reuven and sister-in-law Bess. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his nephews and nieces, Barry Carin and Anne, David Carin and Brenda, Michael Carin and Cielo, Andrew Carin, Jackie and Joel Silver, Judy and Norman Tepper, Allan and Edith Carin, Barbara and Larry Hershorn, Rhoda and Sanford Epstein, and by his many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Morrie volunteered for the 6th Hussars at the outbreak of World War II. He was a humble man and a consummate gentleman. He lived a life of quiet dignity and exceptional integrity. He was a devoted and proud employee of Canadair for four decades. Special thanks to the good people of Steger Residence and Personal Touch who made his last years congenial and comfortable. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Friday, October 31, at 1 p.m. Burial at the King George New Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, De la Savane.
