CITROME, Clara (Claire) (nee Horovitz) Peacefully in Montreal, on Monday, February 15, 2016, in her ninety-eighth year. Devoted wife of the late Alexandre. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of George and Elaine of Ottawa, Daniel and Winnie of Montreal, Les and Amy of Suffern, NY. Cherished 'Meme' of Jeremy and Jillian, Ted and Amanda, Michael and Angely, Melanie, and Lauren; Meme will be lovingly remembered by Winnie's children and grandchildren. Proud great-grandmother of seven. Dear sister and sister-in-law of François and Jacqueline Horovitz of Paris, France, and the late Lucien, and sister-in-law of the late Emma and the late Tibi Roth, the late Bandi and the late Shari, the late Magda and the late Jack, the late Iboya, and the late Lenke. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and all who knew her. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 5th floor at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to her caregiver, Kristina for her loving care and devotion. Graveside service on Wednesday, February 17 at 3:00 p.m., at the King George New Benefit Association Cemetery (D-9), de la Savane, Montreal. Shiva private.
