STEINMETZ, Bella (nee Cooperman) Peacefully, on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Devoted wife of Myer Steinmetz for sixty-one years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Judy (Sigler), Bradley and Tina (Shapiro). Cherished grandmother of Brandon, Jason, and Jamie; Kelly, Chelsea, Luca, and Abbey. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lou and the late Doris Meland, Esther and the late Julius Schneiderman, Yetta and Zoltan Freeman, Abie and the late Mavis Cooperman, Annie and Gerald Cohen, the late Lily and the late Teddy Zaklos. She will be sadly mourned and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Lordes Gabatin and her sisters, the doctors, nurses and caregivers of the Jewish Eldercare Centre, for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the King George Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Wednesday evening.
