RETTER, Alice (nee Lamont) July 12, 1914 – January 6, 2015 Peacefully, at the Jewish General Hospital, on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at the age of one hundred years. Beloved wife of the late Jack Retter (January 16, 2012). Loving sister and sister-in-law of Helen and the late Frank Goldie, Elizabeth and the late William, the late Samuel, Alex and the late Lucille, Stewart and Micheline, Elizabeth and Gilles Froment. Loving sister-in-law of Harry and Dorothy Retter, the late Charles and the late Estelle Retter. Alice will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, along with many great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends whose lives she touched. Special thanks to the devoted caregivers of the Vista Residence along with the attending staff of the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, January 9 at 2 p.m. Burial at the King George Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. |
