RETTER, Jack Peacefully, in his ninety-seventh year, on Monday, January 16, 2012. Beloved husband of Alice for seventy-two years. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Harry and Dorothy, and the late Chuck and the late Estelle Retter. Brother-in-law of Betty and Gilles Froment, Nelly and the late Frank Goldie. Loving uncle of Warren and Sandy, Barry and Shirley, Leslie and Nelly, and Brian and Clare Retter; Linda and Claudio Carelli. Great-uncle of Jillian, Jason and Lindsay, Randi and Nate, Courtney, Michael, Josh, Ryan, Jai-Jai, and Alex, Eric and Tamilia; and great-great-uncle of Hayden. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, January 18 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the King George Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, ending Saturday evening, January 21.
