BAND, Samuel. On Tuesday, June 1, 2004. Husband of the late Esther Lerner. Beloved father and father-in-law of Bernie and Florence (Cookie) Band, the late Dr. Melvyn Band. Cherished zaidie of Ricki and Leslie Fabian, Jodi and Mark Kosowatsky; Lori, Dr. Joanne and Alison Band. Loved great-zaidie of Samantha (Sammi) and Jamie Fabian; Matthew and Brianna Kosowatsky; and Mara Chasan. Brother of the late Irene Steinberg. Survived by nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Janice Cohen and the staff on 4th floor west at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, June 4 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the King George Memorial Park Cemetery, de la Savane.
