SOFIN, William Peacefully, in his ninetieth year, on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. Husband of the late Beverly Mellen. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Andrew and Lucy, Sean and Tatiana. Cherished 'Buba' of Emily, Abbie and Gabe. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Betty and Rudy Ressler. William will be sadly missed by his dear friend and long-time companion, Micheline Talbot, his nephew, David Ressler and family, niece, Audrey Wasser and family, as well as his other nieces and nephews, and all of those whose lives he touched. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, October 25 at 12 noon. Burial at the King George Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane. At the family's request, shiva will be observed in the strictest of privacy.
