ARJAN, Leja (nee Alperowicz) Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at the age of ninety-four. Lea is predeceased by her loving husband Zalman (Sam) Arjan. Lea was a spitfire whose tenacity, survivorship, fierce love for her family and love of song and beauty will live on with her descendants. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Gitele and son, Moishele; her grandchildren, Alexander and Natalie Baack and Elias Arjan; and her great-grandchildren, Finley and Nikolai Baack. We will celebrate our mother and Bubi at a Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, December 21 at 2:00 PM. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. |
