KNECHT, Sara Holocaust survivor, on Sunday, October 17, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Sam (Shloime). Devoted mother and mother-in-law of David and Fran, Syd and Cindy Knecht. Cherished Bubbie of Stacey and Doug, Jason and Flannery, Stuart, Jarred and fiancee Christina, Brandon, and Robby. Proud great-grandmother of Lexi, Nicki, and Gabriel. Predeceased by her parents and siblings, Rifka and Rachella, who perished in the Holocaust. Sara will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to Drs. Michael Dworkind, Golda Tradounsky and Boris Bahoric, to Belle and Judith, and to her caregivers, Fey, Laida and Chato, for their care, kindness and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, October 20 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Association Cemetery (D7), de la Savane.
