OLSZYNKO, Hela (Niedzviecki) (Edreich). Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on July 17, 2006 at the age of eighty-six. Her strong will helped her survive the Holocaust where sadly most of the family perished. She cherished her six grandchildren and lived to enjoy her two great-grandchildren. She was a devoted wife to her husband of forty-five years the late Jacob Olszynko. She remarried and enjoyed eight years with the late Jacob Edreich. She was a deeply loved mother of four children; Mala, who died at sixteen months during the war; Sam (Susan); Goldie (Andrew) and Frank (Frima). Her loss has left a hole in our lives and we will miss her immeasurably. We wish to express our appreciation for the many acts of compassion by staff at the JGH, especially to Dr. Luc Trudeau. We are so grateful to the staff at Mount Sinai Hospital for their exceptional support. We especially would like to thank Benny Rosen for his loyalty, care and devotion to our mother. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons 3888 Jean Talon W on Sunday, July 23 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers Circle Cemetery at De la Savane. Shiva at 6655 Mackle Rd. #412 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. |
