BERCUSSON, Libby (nee Segal) Peacefully, in her ninety-third year, at her home in Montreal, on Friday, August 17, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Bercusson. Beloved mother of seven children: Judith Bercusson, Debbie Lightstone, David Bercusson, Tamar Sudai, the late Carolyn Behar, the late Brian Bercusson, and the late Naomi Tzoubari. She is mourned by her sons-in-law Alexander Lightstone, Rafael Tzoubari and Moshe Sudai, and her daughter-in-law Catherine Bercusson. "Savta Libby" will be missed by her grandchildren: Yair and Dorit Behar, Naomi and Gordie Fogel, Jonathan and Vlada Behar; Sarah and Amelia Bercusson; Rachel Rudolf; Bonnie, Simon and Sabrina Lightstone; Liat, Carmit, Ofir, Eden and Maayan Tzoubari; Boaz, Oren, Dafna and Talia Sudai, and by her great-grandchildren: Elana, Daniel and David Fogel; Aliya, Jasmin and Chloe Behar; Hailey and Nathaniel Behar. Predeceased by her siblings: Sam Segal, Ben Segal, Sue Kastner, Bertha Endler, Jack Segal, and Harry Segal. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, August 19, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva on Sunday from 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Ruby Foo's Hotel, continuing in Toronto, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at 124 Munro Blvd. Donations in her memory may be made to ORT, a Jewish organization which operates schools in Israel and around the world, (514) 481-2787.
