BEHAR, Carolyn (nee Bercusson) On Thursday, June 24, 2010, with great dignity, after a heroic battle with cancer. Daughter of Libby and the late Joseph Bercusson z"l. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Yair and Dorit, Naomi and Gordon Fogel, Jonathan and Vlada. Cherished Savta of Hailey Behar; Elana, Daniel and David Fogel; Aliya, Jasmin and Chloe Behar. Dear sister of the late Brian Bercusson z"l, Judy Bercusson, Debbie Lightstone, David Bercusson, the late Naomi Tzoubari z"l, and Tamar Sudai. Carolyn was in love with her children whom she raised tirelessly on her own. She was a doting grandmother who was proud of every one of her grandchildren's accomplishments. She loved her work, and many of her clients became her close friends. Carolyn relished the arts, culture and travel. She loved life and lived every moment to its fullest. She will be sadly missed by all of those whose lives she touched. Special thanks to Dr. Langleben and the staff of St. Mary's Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Friday, June 25 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Congregation Shomrim Laboker Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 60 Holtham Road, Hampstead, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., through Tuesday, June 29.
