PECKER, Gerald Peacefully on Saturday November 21, 2009. Devoted and beloved husband of Dora (Salinsky) Pecker for sixty-two years. Loving father and father-in-law of Murray and Elaine Pecker, Shelley-Nan and Steven Mestel. Cherished Zaide of Robbie and Randi, Cory; Carly, and Blair. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Sarah and Paul, Martha and Ted, and by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ruth and Norman. Dear brother-in-law of Babs Warner, Sherman and Ruby Salis. Heartfelt thanks to his devoted niece and nephew Hannah and Sydney Medicoff. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Rabinovitch for his many years of care and devotion and to the staff of 13 east at the Montreal General Hospital. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, November 23 at 12 noon. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la savane. Shiva from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
