GILBERT, Mundi. Peacefully and with characteristic dignity, in his ninety-third year, on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Jacqueline Gilbert. Most cherished and beloved father of Adrian T. Gilbert, and beloved and respected father-in-law of Freda Gilbert (nee Heller). Most adored grandfather of Jessica and Lauren Gilbert, who will miss their "Papa" terribly. Deeply loved companion of Sylvia Warren of New York. Beloved brother, uncle and cousin to extended family in Brazil, the United States, Paris and Israel. Mundi will be deeply missed by all whose lives were touched by his formidable presence and friendship. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Pollock and Marina Ziskin for their genuine concern and extraordinary care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Friday, October 10, at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Shomrin Laboker Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, De la Savane. Shiva Private.
