BELL, Ben David. On Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the age of eighty-three after a valiant and courageous battle. Beloved husband for sixty-five years of Ann Brownstein. Dear father and father-in-law of Mona and Marvin Chankowsky, Ivan and Claire (Sigman), Frances and Michael Winterstein and the late Betty Bell. Cherished grandfather of Barry Chankowsky, Allen and Karen Chankowsky (Seligman) and the late Kenny Chankowsky, Jeffrey and Robbie Winterstein, Howard and Robyn Gerson, Marla Gerson. Proud great-grandfather of Stephen Gerson and Ethan Chankowsky. Son of the late Jacob and the late Rachel (Gross). Brother and brother-in-law of the late Nancy and the late Ben Saibil, the late Morris Bell, Katie and the late Harry Rich, Esther and the late Mackie Miller, Yetta and Issie Swift. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the entire staff of Maimonides Geriatric Hospital Centre for their compassionate care. Special appreciation to Justina and Marilyn for their outstanding help and support. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at Shomrim Laboker Beth Yehudah Shaare Tefilah Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
