RAYF, Rachel (nee Steinberg) Peacefully, on Monday, October 14, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Lipman Rayf and the late Markus Rott. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Phyllis, Allen and Nancy, Reuben and Maureen, and stepmother of Riva and Frank, Jacob and Rhona, Lorenzo and the late Rachel Rayf. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Davyd, Joel, Eileen, Adam (Wendy), and Sari (Phillip). Proud great-grandmother of Cali, Maya and Lenna. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sol and Ruth Steinberg, the late Hersh and the late Mania Steinberg, Halina and the late Michael Steinberg. Rachel will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, October 17 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily, ending Sunday evening, October 20.
