FORSHPAN, Cesia (nee Frajtag) A very special person, our mother, Cesia Forshpan, passed away peacefully, in her home in Toronto, on Sunday, July 1, 2018, at the age of ninety-eight. Beloved wife of the late Yankel Forshpan. Devoted mother of Motl (Sharon) and Carol (Allan). Beloved Bubby of Corry (Brian), Darryl (Samantha), Jake, Dylan, Jay and Alyssa (Anthony); and great-grandmother of Cooper, Hudson, Brooke and Zoey. She was a dear aunt to her nieces and nephews, Erna, Hannah, Rena and Isaak, and remained a vital part in everyone's life until the end. Always having been the cohesive force to her surviving siblings, Aaron and Regina, she was the central force in keeping alive the memory of those in the family who perished in the Holocaust. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, July 4 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva to be announced.
