ZALOWICZ, Berl. On Tuesday, November 11, 2003 in his eighty-ninth year. Beloved husband of Masha. Devoted father and father-in-law of William, Ellen (Moss), Rowena and Gary Oakes. Cherished Zaidie of Daniel. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, sisters and their children who perished in the Holocaust. Brother-in-law of Michel and Anna Bocian, Sarah and Morris Wenger, Rachel and David Kimel, Eleanor and the late Boris Bocian, the late Rywka and the late Sam Gitman. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the wonderful and devoted staff of Maimonides Geriatric Center and to Mesi, Sely, Chandra. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Thursday, November 13 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at Montreal Workers Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
