PAP, Sam On Monday, May 23, 2011 at the age of ninety-one. Beloved husband of the late Goldie Soroka, and Mamie Cohen. Loving father and father-in-law of Janice and Ted Carolin of Toronto, Elliott and Nancy of Vancouver, Donna and Larry Clemen. Cherished Grandpa of David and Simone, Jeff; Stephanie, Graham; and Debbie. Proud great grandfather of Rebecca. Dear step-father of Richard and Sandi Millstein, Michael and Sylvia Millstein. Step-grandfather of Lisa and Eryn, Dana; and Greg. Step-great grandfather of Ally, and Jayson. Predeceased by his sisters and their spouses Goldie and Sam Lerner, Beulah and Sonny Blau, and Rose Pap. Brother-in-law of Archie and the late Jackie Soroka, Abe and Liz Soroka, the late Ray and the late Bob Carr, the late Jack and the late Mildred Soroka. Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the 4th floor at Maimonides. Heartfelt gratitude to his caregivers for their devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, May 25 at 12 noon. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his daughter's home Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; Friday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Contributions in Sam's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
