PAPERNICK, Esther (nee Blumenthal) Peacefully, on Monday, April 4, 2011. Wife of the late Louis. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Hannah and Norman Boman, the late Harold Papernick. Loving Bubby of Ellen and Eddy Dahan, Anna and James Boman. Proud great-grandmother of Ryan, Aaron and Hailey Dahan. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Helen Blumenthal, Jenny Blumenthal, Jack and Esther Blumenthal, Dora and Richard Nozetz, Anne and Charles Papiernick, Max and Shirley Blitenthal. Sister-in-law of the late Adolf and the late Rose Papiernick, the late David Papernick. The family would like to thank Yan, Flora, Dorothy, Shari, Nathan and the staff of 6 North, Maimonides Geriatric Centre, for their warmth and compassion. Graveside service at the Montreal Workers' Circle Association Cemetery, de la Savane, on Wednesday, April 6 at 11:30 a.m. Shiva at her daughter's home, daily from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions in Esther's memory may be made to the Maimonides Hospital Foundation, (514) 483-2121, ext. 2207.
