ROSENFELD, Sara, C.M. (nee Mlotek). On Saturday, January 24, 2004, beloved wife of the late Hershel, loving mother and mother-in-law of Zalmen and Nancy, Moishe and Annette, Fay and Eric, grandmother of Liora, Sharon, Avi, Felicia, Ariel, Shayna and Lia, great-grandmother of Shachar, sister-in-law, aunt, and dear friend to many. With deep sadness we mourn her passing. She was a dynamic leader of the Jewish community's effort to build and maintain a vibrant Yiddish culture. A co-founder of KlezKanada, noted impresario, writer and speaker, she was named to the Order of Canada in 2002. Funeral services from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Tuesday, January 27, at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Montreal Worker's Circle Cemetery, de la Savane.
