GUNNER, Toba (nee Ashkenazy) Peacefully, on Thursday, December 27, 2012 in her ninety-third year. Beloved wife of the late Max (Mac) Gunner. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Franceen and Robert, Arlene Rachel (Leni) and Morrie, Lori and Jeffrey. Cherished grandmother of Caryn and Richard, Warren and Kelly, Sarah, Levi, and great-grandmother of Trevor, Jason, Ian, Jayden, Joshua, and Jaxon. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lionel and Madeline, Chaim and Yaffa, Sol and Estelle, the late Moses (Vickie), and the late William (the late Rosadeen), and the late Nellie and the late Sydney Raphael. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be greatly missed for her forty years of devoted service at the Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 30, at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Chevra T'hilim Pinsker Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva will be held at her home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. until Tuesday evening.
