On January 23, 2001 at Shalom Village in Hamilton, Ontario, aged ninety-seven years. Beloved uncle and great-uncle of Kala and Steve Solway, and Aron of Toronto, David Bach and Judy Hoenich and Daniel, Ben, and Michael of London, and Joshua and Vicky Bach and Sarah and Eva of Hamilton. Dear son of the late Rachel Yocheved and Maurice Joshua Bach, and devoted brother (brother-in-law) of the late Eli, Robert, Frieda and Emanuel (Mary Krasnow), all late of Montreal. Funeral in Hamilton. Interment at Chevra Thillim Pinkser Kinyan Torah Section, de la Savanne, on Friday, January 26, 2001 at 2 p.m. The family thanks Pat Morden and staff at Shalom Village and Dr. Klinghoffer for the mentschlechkeit and loving kindness they have shown to uncle Ben for eight years.
