Obituary KATZ, Yetta (nee Etka Stermer) Peacefully, at home, on Saturday, May 31, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Avrum (Abraham). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Faye and Joe Galat, Saul and Genoa. Cherished Bubby of Adam and Jamie Laufer, Jessica and Norman Abramovich, Ariel, and Elia. Proud great-grandmother of Aiden, Joshua, and Isla. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Shulim (Saul) and the late Czarna, Shlomo (Sam) and Bella, and Peppe and the late Nissen Stermer, the late Henya and the late Fishel Leib Dodek, the late Chana and the late Yoshe (Joseph) Richter. Special thanks to Yetta's exceptional caregivers, Galina Bronstein and Helen Vahker. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, June 2 at 12 noon. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 5584 Northluc Ave. Due to the advent of Shavuot, shiva ends Tuesday afternoon, June 3. Yetta was a Holocaust survivor, whose family's survival was recorded in the film documentary "No Place on Earth".
