TARAN, Charles In Florida, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 18, 2009. Beloved husband and best friend of Marlene for fifty-eight years. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of David and Randy Taran, Beverly and Joe Schlesinger, Rhonda and Brian Horlick. Cherished and proud grandfather of Alexandra, Benjamin, and Zoe Taran and Michael, Jason and Zachary Horlick. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Esther and Egon Brody, Abby and Shaindy Taran, Iris and Ben Wainberg, and Howard Luke. Eldest son of the late Benjamin and the late Sonia Taran. Charles will also be remembered and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives, extended family, and many friends. Funeral service at Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at 12 noon. Burial at the Zicheron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva will be observed in Montreal until Wednesday, 4 p.m., and continued in Florida until Monday morning.
