BRODY, Esther (nee Taran) Peacefully, on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Beloved wife of Egon (Joe) Brody. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law and best friend of Douglas and Kathy Brody, Renee and Alden Stein, John and Rita Brody, and the late George Brody. Cherished 'Bubby E.T.' of Gillian, Courtney and Haleigh Brody; Harley and Tyler Stein; Stephanie and Mark Brody. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Abby and the late Shaindy Taran, Marlene and the late Charles Taran, and sister-in-law of Judy Brody-Feig. Daughter of the late Sonia and the late Ben Taran. Esther will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and all of those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of 10 Medical at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Jennifer Charles for her love and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 19 at 12 noon. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ukraina Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 6815 Newton St., C.S.L., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashanah, shiva ends Wednesday morning, September 24. Donations in Esther's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
