BLUMENTHAL, Benjamin Peacefully, on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Rita Schafer. Loving and devoted father of Mark and Richard. Dear brother-in-law and brother of Rita and the late Harry Blumenthal, Marlene and the late Max Blumenthal. Brother-in-law of Harvey and Natalie Schafer, the late Joe and the late Freda Schafer, the late Lester and the late Myrna Schafer. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, many friends, and all of those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Smilovitch.
