After a life in which all of his dreams were fulfilled, Mortimer Levy passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Cherished son of the late Max and the late Rose (née Silverman) Levy. Very special and loving husband of Pearl (Guralnick) for sixty-nine years. Devoted father of Stephen (Jill), David (Amanda) and Robert. Proud grandfather of Kira (Iain), Kathryn (Theodore), Diana (Eli), David (Jules), Stephanie (Wally), Francesca, Taylor (Chei-Wei) and Sean. Adored great-grandfather of Lilianna, Imogen, Pau, Tree, Ayala, Eden, Gwendolyn and Ellie. Dear brother of the late Anne Urist (the late Rube) and the late Goldie Alioff (the late Max); and beloved brother-in-law of Audrey and the late Edward Guralnick, Abe and Ellen Guralnick and the late Arlene Guralnick, Florrie and the late Michael Levy. Mortimer will be dearly missed by Felice Levy, his many nieces, nephews, friends and by all those whose lives he touched. Sincere thanks to Drs. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, rue de la Savane.
