SHER, Olga (nee Korec) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in her ninety-fourth year, on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Ben. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Julian and Lisa, Ilona and Sam, Emil and Kathy. Dear mother-in-law of Cecile Tremblay. Cherished grandmother of Daniel and JiaJia, Myriam and Davi, Sophie, Molly, Adam, Tovah and Michael. Great-grandmother of Colden and Reese. Dear sister of Irena and the late Simon Peritz; sister-in-law of Helen and the late Hymie Sher, and the late Ralph and the late Bunny Sher. Olga will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A Holocaust survivor who devoted her life to keeping the memories alive. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Shiva ending on Wednesday evening.
