WENER, Ruth (nee Brown). Peacefully, on Sunday, March 19, 2006. Beloved wife for fifty-four years of her devoted husband Ben. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Neil and Nancy of Waterloo, Ontario, Mitchell and Darlene of Springfield, Massachusetts. Adored Bubbie of Erin and Marissa. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Dorothy and Al Diamond of Vancouver, BC, Hy and Millie Wener. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Many thanks to Lucie Lajeunesse of the Pulmonary Division at the Jewish General Hospital, and our appreciation to the wonderful staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Wednesday, March 22 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
