STARR, Ernie. Suddenly, on Friday, August 2, 2002. Beloved and devoted husband of Rose Sherman for sixty years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Fran and Kenny Katz, Howard and Alicia Starr. Loving grandfather of Sindy Katz, Andrew and Stacey (Brotman) Katz; Adam Starr and fiancee B.D. Sigel, Jonathan and Naomi (Jedeikin) Starr. Adored great-grandfather of Jessica and Alex, Danielle and Jamie, and Jackson. Brother of Marty, the late Hymie and the late Gertie. Sadly mourned by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Monday, August 5 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregational Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
