STARR, Rose (nee Sherman) Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 10, 2010, in her eighty-eighth year. Wife of the late Ernie. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Fran and the late Kenny Katz, Howard and Alicia Starr. Loving Bubby of Sindy Katz and Chuck Cohen, Andrew and Stacey Katz; Adam and B.D. Starr, Jonathan and Naomi Starr. Cherished Great-Bubby of Jessica and Alex Lufty; Danielle and Jamie Katz; Ezra, Nyla and Yael Starr; Jackson, Sammy and Layla Starr. Dear sister of Polly Smiley, Sidney Sherman. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Rubin Becker for his care and friendship. Special thanks to her caregiver, Elsie Canda.
