FELDMAN, Shirley Rae (nee Groper) September 8, 1927 – August 21, 2017 In Ottawa on Monday, August 21, 2017, with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Manny and loving mother of Elaine (Andrew), Susan (Fred), and the late Lisa Silverman (Barry). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Stephanie Carr (Devon), Benjamin Silverman, Emily and Jack Caddell and her great-granddaughter Lyla Carr. Eldest sister of Florence Cytrynbaum, Isabel Baird and Myra Ferrara. Predeceased by her brother Walter Groper. Shirley will be remembered by her family and many friends as a devoted and loving wife and mother, proud Bubbie and great story-teller. Graveside service on Wednesday, August 23 at 3:30 p.m. at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
