LANDE, Martin. Died as he lived, with great dignity and serenity on Wednesday, August 21, 1996. Most beloved life-mate of Mia Gaber. Loving father and father-in-law of Irwin Lande, Sherry and Gerry Feifer. Role model and Zaide to Andrew and J. J. Feifer. Devoted son of Molly Brandman and the late Isaac Landau. Son-in-law of the late Anna Gaber. Dear brother-in-law of the late Dave and Fortune Gaber and Mina Reisner of Israel. Special uncle to Harold and Leslie Gaber. He will be sadly missed by his many cousins in Philadelphia, New York, Vienna and Israel. Best friend and mentor to all who knew him, he leaves us with a proud legacy of ultimate courage and dedicated love to his family. Heartfelt thanks to all our friends and physicians who shared in his care and supported our family throughout, with their love. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, August 23 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his residence.
