COLA, Franka (nee Friedman). With strength and dignity, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 13, 2007. Beloved wife of the late David. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Helen and Stanley, Jack and Brenda, Philip and Randi. Beloved Bubby of Ronnie and Debbie, Renee and Jay, Michael and Leslie, Kimberly, Mandy, Jeremy, Warren, Michelle and Adam. Loving great-grandmother of Gabriella, Joelle, Joshua, Hannah, Samuel, Samantha, Alexandra, Joseph, Olivia, Simon, David and Victoria. Predeceased by her precious family that perished in the Holocaust and by her dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Fella, Joel and Bronia. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many friends and all those whose lives she touched. The family would like to acknowledge Dr. Portnoy and all the doctors, nurses and staff at the ICU of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. A special thanks to our devoted Rabbis who have been a source of strength to us. Funeral service took place from Paperman & Sons, on Thursday, December 13. Shiva at 202 Finchley Rd., Hampstead.
