MENDELSOHN, Sheila (nee Shuter) On Monday, October 9, 2017, in her eighty-eighth year. Beloved wife of the late Milton. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of Bruce Mendelsohn of Ottawa, Jina and Michael Missle of Boston, the late Stuart Mendelsohn and the late Fred Mendelsohn. Loving Bubbee of Zachary Missle and Jordyn Missle. Daughter of the late Jean Scodnick and the late Harry Shuter. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Irving and Joan Shuter, Yola and the late George Rusnak, and the late Albert Shuter. Sister-in-law of Joseph and the late Helen Mendelsohn, the late Selma and the late Morris Solomon of Florida, the late Shirley and the late Sydney Hodess, the late George and the late Dorothy Mendelsohn, the late Al and the late Molly Mendelsohn, the late Philip and the late Esther Mendelsohn. Sheila will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and all who knew her. Heartfelt gratitude to Sheila's caregiver and dedicated companion for over six years, Ann Lewis, who was always by her side giving her strength and support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. The family will be receiving visitors following burial at 5825 Shalom Ave. (reception room), C.S.L. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheila's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
