DIAMOND, Jerry On Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Beloved husband of Sarah (Moore) for sixty-eight years. Most cherished father of Elaine and Frank Simkevitz, Ronnie and Harriet Diamond. Loving grandfather of Howard and Laura Simkevitz, Steven and Lihor Simkevitz, Hilly and Erica Diamond, Stephanie and David Krebs. Adored great-grandfather of Andrew, Sean, Zoe and Eden. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Louis and the late Ruth Diamond, Dorothy and the late Jack Bergman, Shirley and the late Alec Diamond, the late Sadie and the late Ben Tarter, and brother-in-law of Dinah and the late Harry, Zelda and the late Scotty, the late Al and the late Ruth Moore. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Ninfa Rinon for her years of dedication. Our heartfelt thanks to Drs. Zackon, Bekhor and Yermus for their compassion and attention. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, October 30 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his son's home.
