SPIRO, Rabbi Michel. On Monday, January 5, 2009. Devoted husband of Martha. Beloved father and father-in-law of Chomie and Zev Rosenzweig, Yechezkel and Shulamit Spiro, Shayna and Lazer Friedman. Cherished Zeidie of Noam and Sarah Rosenzweig, Temima and Chaim Stern, Deena and Yosef Dovid Tress; Tohar Spiro, Maayan and Shachar Zeliger, Bat-Shir and Chagai Usher, Emunah Spiro, Hadaria and Erez Feuerman, Teshua and Nechemia Bashan, Reena, Chana, and the late Hallel Spiro; Reena and Daniel Ostro, Ari Friedman. Much loved Great Zeidie of eleven great grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Rabbi Shloime and Seyma Spiro, the late Esther and the late Joseph Epstein, and brother-in-law of Toby Shkarofsky. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and all who knew him. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the exemplary care provided by the ICU team at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Congregation Shomrim Laboker, 6410 Westbury Ave., took place on Wednesday, January 7 at 2 p.m. Shiva at 852 Dunlop Ave., Outremont. Arrangement entrusted to Paperman & Sons.
