STERNBERG, Faige (nee Shivilenko) Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Beloved wife and soul mate of the late Israel (Butch). Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Michael Baron, Donna and Jack Beker, Rhonda and Alain Lallouz. Much loved grandma of Chelsea, Ashley (Milka), Jonah, Amadeus, Chanel, Aladdin, and Abner. Most devoted and loving daughter of the late Rifka and the late Idel Shivilenko. Sister and sister-in-law of Sandra and Mel Weinstein of Florida, and Anne Kastner, and dear sister-in-law of Peter and Rhoda Sternberg. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Special thanks to Vernice for her years of love, compassion and devotion, and to the doctors, nurses and staff at Maimonides for their exceptional care. Funeral Service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 7 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. The family requests that the Shiva in Montreal be observed in the strictest of privacy. Shiva in Toronto, commencing Monday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily, at 11 Newport Sq., Thornhill.
