STERNBERG, Israel (Butch) Peacefully, on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Beloved husband and soul-mate of Faige Shivilenko for fifty-nine years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Barbara and Michael Baron, Donna and Jack Beker, Rhonda and Alain Lallouz. Much loved grandfather of Chelsea, Ashley, Jonah, Amadeus, Chanel, Aladdin, and Abner. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Rhoda. He will be deeply missed by his niece, nephew, family, friends and Pythian brothers. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff of 6W at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal on Friday, July 27 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane, Montreal. Shiva in Montreal at his home from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily; as well as at 11 Newport Square, Thornhill, ON from 1:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday.
