SOCRAN, Morton. After a long and courageous battle, in his eighty-fourth year, on Monday, March 24, 2008. Beloved husband of Leah. Devoted father and father-in-law of Jordan and Monica, and Farah Socran. Cherished grandpa of Molly. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Hilma and the late David Socransky, Bernie and the late Anita Harris. Morty will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Melnychuk and the staff of 7W at the Jewish General Hospital for their care, kindness and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Wednesday, March 26 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private ending Sunday evening.
