HEITNER, Syd. On Saturday, August 18, 2007. Dearly beloved and most devoted husband of Eydie Shapiro. Loving father and father-in-law of Cheryl, Mark (Robin Fishbein), and Robyn and Jeffrey Goldstein. Adored Papa of Justin, Jeremy, Sean, Lindsay, Jenna, Jordan and Haley. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Max and the late Lil Sobel, the late Moe and the late Toba Heitner. Dear brother-in-law of Beverly Shapiro and Sam Shapiro. Special thanks to Wendy Baczek for her care, kindness and devotion. Syd will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Tuesday, August 21 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
