GRODAN, Jolan (nee Goldstein) A Holocaust survivor, passed away peacefully, in her ninety-third year, on Saturday, September 19, 2009. Wife of the late Alexander Grodan MD. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Dr. Paul and Judi Grodan, Susi Grodan and Robert Levine. Cherished grandmother of Alex, Evan, and Melissa Grodan, Adam Kruger and fiancee Cherise Bangs, Kelly Kruger and fiance Rob Weiss, Michelle and Amy Levine. Predeceased by her brothers, Arthur, Zoltan, Laci Gabor and Imre Goldstein. She will be sadly missed. Special thanks to Drs. Golda Tradounsky, Gerard Huni and the staff of Mount Sinai Hospital, for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, September 22 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
