ADESKY, Rose (nee Rosen) July 4, 1930 October 20, 2018 On Saturday, October 20, 2018. Loving wife of the late Phil Adesky. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Neil and Denise of Edmonton, and Richard Adesky. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Dr. David and Gloria Rosen of Florida, Gert and the late Ralph Zlatkin, Joyce and the late Dr. Harold Rosen. Daughter of the late Ida and the late Isadore Rosen. Rose was a valued contributor to education in the Jewish community, teaching at both, United Talmud Torah and Hertzeliah High Schools for thirty-six years. She was active in various community agencies for decades, sharing her organizational skills, humour and insights. She has now gone onto a much-deserved rest. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, October 23 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Farband Labour Zionist Organization Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5740 Rembrandt Ave., C.S.L., from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily through Friday afternoon.
