DROBNER, Bertha (nee Freeman) It is with deep sadness and a profound sense of loss that our family announces the passing of Bertha Drobner on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in her ninety-ninth year. She passed away as she lived -- with grace, dignity and strength. Beloved wife of the late Phil. An extraordinary mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be dearly missed by her loving children, Judy Siegel (the late Max), Cynthia Maklin (Mickey) and Elliot Drobner (Diana). Adored grandmother of Brahm Siegel (Paula), Lesley-Anne Ades (Hillel), Debra Siegel, and David Siegel; Eleasa Maklin (Carlos) and Jared Maklin (Desiree); and Nathan Drobner. Treasured great-grandmother of Zane and Thade; Jordann and Ben; Cai and Liana; Jake; and Mallory. Predeceased by her dear siblings, Alec, Jack, Lena, and Henry Freeman, and Ethel Kasnoff. The family would like to thank Bertha's devoted caregivers, Jane and Marivihc, for their loving care and devotion. A private funeral service was held on Friday, June 24.
